Environmental Air Systems, a full-service mechanical contractor, is seeking a Custodian to join our manufacturing shop in High Point, North Carolina. position is available on first shift.

Schedule: 6:00am-4:30pm with OT as necessary

Location: 250 Swathmore Ave, High Point, NC 27263

Responsibilities:

• •Clean and sanitize restrooms and breakrooms
• •Clean and sweep manufacturing facility daily
• •Dust walls
• •Collect trash outside the manufacturing facility
• •Operate weedwhacker to maintain outdoor shrubbery as needed
• •Maintain a neat and orderly custodian room; ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked
• •Work safely and adhere to all safety rules and policies
• •Work in a fast-paced team environment

Education Requirements/Qualifications:

• •Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required.
• •Minimum of a high school education or equivalent
• •Previous janitor or maintenance experience preferred
• •Previous experience in a manufacturing or construction environment preferred

Job Requirements/Special Skills:

• •Ability to speak and read either English or Spanish
• •Ability to work independently and on a team
• •Strong verbal communication skills
• •Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• •Ability to stand and work for prolonged periods of time
• •Ability to work in conditions of varying heat and cold where noise levels are at or above 90 decibels
