Description
West Allis on 108th | West Allis, WI
Pay: $60-85,000/yr
The Role
Ready to lead a team that's actually changing lives? Community Medical Services (CMS) is looking for a Clinic Manager to run the day-to-day at our West Allis clinic — supporting people on their recovery journey from opioid and substance use disorders. You'll bring your supervisory chops to build a clinic that runs smoothly, feels safe, and genuinely supports patients and staff alike. This isn't just a management job — it's a chance to build something meaningful with a team that's got your back.
Why You'll Want This One
We take care of our people so they can take care of others. Full-time team members get:
- Subsidized medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Health savings account
- Short- and long-term disability insurance
- Life insurance
- Paid sick, vacation, and holiday time
- 401(k) with match
- Tuition and CME reimbursement up to 100%
- Employee assistance program for your mental health and wellness
- Real, ongoing professional development — not just a checkbox
What You'll Bring
You're a people-first leader. You know how to train, coach, and support a team — and you actually enjoy it. You create a workplace where people feel heard and set up to do their best work. You think ahead. You'll team up with the Regional Operations Director to shape business plans for new programs and other strategic moves across our clinics. You love building better systems. Messy process? You're the one who fixes it. You'll create policies and procedures that keep things running efficiently and support continuous quality improvement.
What You'll Actually Do
- Hire, train, and guide your patient services team and supervisors
- Set staffing levels based on patient needs, workflow, and clinical demands
- Spot and de-escalate patient concerns before they become bigger problems
- Partner with Quality and Compliance to keep the clinic aligned with state and federal requirements
- Keep patient flow and care coordination running smoothly
- Set KPIs for customer service and model what excellent patient care looks like
- Manage outside agency inspections and help navigate audits or corrective plans (CARF, OBHL, RHBA, state, DEA, fire, and alarm)
- Work with your Clinical Coordinator on grievances, appeals, and complaints from clients or oversight agencies
Requirements
What You'll Need
- High school diploma required
- 2+ years in behavioral health or health services preferred
- Prior supervisory experience or experience leading a team — required
Notice to Wisconsin Employees
All new hires must provide proof of MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) and Varicella (Chickenpox) vaccinations, and should have a current flu vaccine or be willing to get one. Medical or religious exemptions are available — CMS will provide the forms, which must be submitted before your start date.
About CMS
Community Medical Services (CMS) is a CARF-accredited addiction treatment provider offering outpatient medication-assisted treatment plus individual and group counseling for people managing opioid use disorder. Headquartered in Arizona with 70+ clinics across 14 states, we're on a mission to close the treatment gap in communities hit hardest by the opioid epidemic.
Our Commitment
We're an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, protected veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
This job description isn't a complete list of every duty or responsibility — those may evolve over time, with or without notice.
