Job Title: Senior Cloud Data Engineer / Cloud Data Platform Engineer
Experience: 8–10 Years
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, and AWS to join our Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on cloud data platform implementation experience, solutioning capabilities, infrastructure automation expertise, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across business and technology teams.
This role requires a blend of technical excellence, architecture thinking, cloud platform delivery experience, and strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and support scalable cloud-based data platforms on AWS.
- Build and optimize ELT/ETL pipelines using Snowflake, DBT, and Airflow.
- Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines for data platform deployments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver data solutions.
- Ensure platform reliability, performance, security, and operational excellence.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing cloud platform support.
- Drive best practices around automation, data governance, monitoring, and cloud optimization.

- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Financial Services, Banking, or Collections domain experience is desirable.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 8–10 years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 4–6 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and AWS.
- Proven experience delivering cloud data engineering solutions end-to-end.
- Ability to balance hands-on development with solution design and stakeholder engagement.
