CNC Operator

Hexcel is currently seeking a CNC Operator for our Pottsville, PA, USA location.

The selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:

• •Operate all NC machines, including Thermwoods.
• •Support all NC’s by performing the final inspection of parts
• •Loading/unloading parts and tools and part preparation
• •Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment
• •Maintain an accurate E-log, 5-S, and housekeeping to customer requirement
• •Individuals could be asked to operate different machines on their shift
• •Department or area specific expectations will be further defined by supervisor/manage.
• •Individual will support team efforts and product process by performing any operation or tasks deemed necessary by customer requirements, team consensus, and/or supervisor/manager
• •Works in a team environment to reach consensus decisions within the guidelines and boundaries established by the company, and maintains constructive relationships with co-workers

Qualifications:

• •High School diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
• •Minimum of six months experience required, preferably in manufacturing
• •Basic working knowledge of computer data entry function preferred
• •Must be able to maintain a quality delegate stamp or attain and retain a quality delegate stamp
• •Must follow all safety guidelines
• •Must be a capable forklift operator
• •Familiar with PC computer systems
• •Possess good organizational and administrative skills
• •Able to develop audit reports and write non-conforming records as required
