Michigan Millers is seeking a temporary Commercial Support Specialist to join our team in our Lansing office! This position is responsible for providing support to our commercial and specialty lines teams.

This is a temporary, full-time position expected to last approximately six months. The anticipated duration may change based on business needs.

What are the responsibilities and opportunities of this role?

• •Performs duties that are administrative in nature.
• •Keeps accurate and current records in designated systems that are accessible to others.
• •Amends policies per agent requests based on authority level.
• •Researches agent requests.
• •Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What are the must-have qualifications for a candidate?

• •Effective oral and written communication skills.
• •Demonstrated ability to pay attention to detail.
• •Ability to maintain focus throughout the workday.
• •Proficient use of various core systems, office and computer equipment, and software packages.
• •Ability to accurately enter and maintain data in multiple computer systems.
• •High school diploma or equivalent.

What will our ideal candidate have?

• •Prior insurance industry experience.
• •Prior Guidewire experience.

Compensation Overview:

The full hiring range for this role is $19.72 - $23.66 per hour. However, the base pay offered may vary depending on the job-related knowledge, skills, credentials, and experience of each candidate as well as other factors such as the scope and location of the role.
