Holman Upfitting in Bartlett, IL is seeking a Commercial Vehicle Warranty Supervisor to lead our warranty team supporting commercial vehicle, truck equipment, and vocational upfit operations. This role oversees warranty claims, repair order administration, vendor relationships, and customer issue resolution.
This role serves as the primary liaison between customers, service providers, manufacturers, and internal teams to ensure warranty concerns are resolved accurately, repairs are completed in a timely manner, and customers receive exceptional service. The ideal candidate will bring leadership experience, a strong understanding of warranty and service operations, and a passion for process improvement.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach and develop a team responsible for warranty administration
- Oversee the full warranty process, including claim review, repair order management, documentation, and claim submission.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for complex customer and warranty-related concerns
- Coordinate repairs with service providers and vendors to ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor warranty claim accuracy, supporting documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Review open claims, repair orders, and aging items to ensure timely follow-up and resolution.
- Analyze warranty data and recurring issues to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct warranty reviews and provide reporting on performance metrics, claim status, and recovery opportunities.
- Communicate warranty coverage, claim decisions, repair status, and timelines to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Partner with operations teams and service providers to improve service delivery and the overall customer experience.
- Track departmental KPIs and drive accountability, performance, and operational efficiency across the team.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, provide coaching and performance feedback, and support employee development.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience leading warranty operations, service operations, or warranty programs within commercial vehicle, truck equipment, equipment manufacturing, heavy equipment, fleet maintenance, or OEM service environments.
- Previous experience leading, supervising, coaching, and developing employees is required, experience managing remote or geographically dispersed teams is strongly preferred.
- OEM warranty experience preferred
- Experience managing warranty claims, repair orders, service vendors, and customer escalations.
- Strong understanding of KPI reporting, performance management, and process improvement.
- Ability to analyze warranty trends and implement corrective actions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain warranty decisions, processes, and costs to customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to understand service, repair, and warranty-related issues.
- Experience with service management, CRM, or warranty tracking systems( Spiceworks, Salesforce)
- High School Diploma or GED required

Regular Full-Time

Temporary or Part-Time

Pay:
We offer competitive wages that are commensurate with job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and geographic location, starting in the range of $72,950.00 - $103,955.00 USD annually for full time employees. The annual compensation range is comprised of base pay earnings.
