Job Description:

· Supervise maintenance operations for the hotel Courtyard Rocky Mount and Residence Inn Rocky Mount Hotels,

· Supervise assigned associates including hiring, termination, discipline, development, and evaluations.

· Ensure all projects are completed on time and according to specifications.

· Work closely with other departments to ensure coordination of activities.

· Develop and maintain an ongoing preventive maintenance program.

· Maintain standards of quality guest service.

· Participate in the preparation of the annual hotel budget.

Requirements

Requirements:

· Effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.

· Ability to accurately report information.

· Ability to scrupulously follow all StepStone and hotel policies and procedures.

· Attend required meetings.

· Conveys company information, decision, or problems to appropriate parties on a timely basis.

· Minimum lifting of 70 pounds.

· Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.

· Hearing, writing, typing.

· Minimum pulling of 70 pounds.

· CPR training required; first aid training preferred.
