Pharvaris is a late-stage biopharmaceutical company developing novel, oral bradykinin B2 receptor antagonists to potentially address all types of bradykinin-mediated angioedema. By targeting this clinically proven therapeutic target with novel, oral small molecules, the Pharvaris team is advancing new alternatives to injected therapies for the prevention and treatment of hereditary angioedema (HAE) attacks, and other bradykinin B2-receptor-mediated indications. HAE is a rare and potentially life-threatening genetic disease, and people living with HAE can suffer sudden and prolonged attacks of swelling in multiple areas of the body, including the airway, which can be life-threatening.

We are excited to be expanding our U.S. Commercial team and are looking for a Congress and Peer-to-Peer Lead, to join our team and report to our Portfolio Marketing Lead.

Role Summary

The Congress and Peer-to-Peer Lead is responsible for the strategic direction, planning, and development of compelling educational content for congresses, advisory boards and the peer-to-peer suite of speaker programs to support Pharvaris’ launches in HAE. This leader will define and oversee the immediate and long-term vision for the company’s presence and influence across local, regional, and national conferences and medical society meetings, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy and business objectives. Additionally, this person will be responsible for collaborating closely with the Thought Leader Liaisons (TLLs) team to plan and execute high-impact ad boards and strategic council meetings, ensuring the collection and pull through of insights to inform brand strategy, customer engagement, and market development.

This highly visible role requires an accomplished strategic marketing leader with a proven track record of leading and executing congress activities, advisory boards, and peer-to-peer program strategy, who can build cross-functional alignment and execute in a fast-paced launch and innovation-focused environment

Responsibilities

Leads the strategic marketing presence at local, regional, and national conferences and medical society meetings

Drives key decisions about congress booth design and content including our future presence / footprint across a broad range of meetings

Leads the development of ad board materials, in close partnership with TLLs, Medical, MLR reviewers and agency partners and takes them through the promotional review process

Sets the content strategy for the suite of peer-to-peer programs that will be developed to support the education of HCPs on disease state and future Pharvaris products

Key member of the speaker bureau steering committee

Serve as a key partner within the Commercial organization, accountable for shaping and advancing HCP educational strategy in support of launch readiness and long-term brand growth

Develop deep expertise in the HCP journey by generating insights, identifying unmet needs and friction points, and translating those insights into actionable tactics

Establish strong, effective partnerships across organizational functions such as Medical, TLLs, Patient Advocacy, Commercial Operations, Launch Excellence, Legal, Regulatory and agency partners to move work forward with clarity and consistency

Manage external agencies to deliver high-quality work on time and within budget, while maintaining focus on strategic priorities, executional excellence, and efficient resource allocation

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred

Typically requires 7+ years of relevant biopharmaceutical industry experience, including at least 3 years of focused experience in U.S. marketing

Experienced developing and executing both branded and unbranded marketing initiatives

Experience in rare disease and/or specialty markets with meaningful competitive complexity required

Prior U.S. launch experience preferred

Demonstrated ability to build strong, credible partnerships across internal teams and external stakeholders, including patient organizations

Strong scientific and medical acumen, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, appropriate, and compelling communications for HCP audiences

Proven history of engaging rare disease communities with empathy, authenticity, and a strong understanding of the human experience behind the disease

Highly motivated self-starter with strong planning and organizational skills, able to manage competing priorities while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and follow-through

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly, confidently, and effectively to senior leadership and external partners

Strong analytical capability, including the ability to interpret data, uncover actionable insights, and translate findings into meaningful messaging and marketing strategies

Experience leading complex marketing initiatives through Promotional Review Committee review and approval processes

Consistent record of ownership, accountability, and delivering high-quality results

Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, evolving commercial environment and adapt effectively as priorities shift

Willingness to travel as needed, approximately 30%

This is a hybrid role, and candidates must live within commuting distance to the Lexington, MA office

We are looking for someone who has:

Team‑first mindset with a strong sense of urgency to support Pharvaris’ first‑launch environment

Fosters and develops strong relationships with agencies, field teams, TLLs, patient services, access, and medical to deliver cohesive campaigns

Self‑starter mentality — highly organized, able to manage multiple workstreams independently, meet deadlines, and drive deliverables without constant oversight

Creative and solution‑oriented approach, capable of anticipating operational needs, solving problems, and improving processes that support launch readiness and field effectiveness

Experience supporting marketing material development and operations, including managing timelines, approvals (e.g., MLR), asset inventory, printing, shipping, and onsite execution

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to synthesize information and provide clear updates to leadership and field teams

Pharvaris is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $180,000-$220,000 per year. Actual compensation will depend on various factors, including but not limited to depth of experience, skill set, overall performance, and education. Pharvaris believes in providing a competitive compensation and benefits package. Base salary is just one component of our competitive total rewards strategy.
