SUMMARY: Responsible for obtaining consignments of fine timepieces, including antique pocket watches, vintage wristwatches, and high-end modern watches
LOCATION: 9420 Wilshire Blvd. #100, Beverly Hills, 90212

COMPENSATION: $75,000 - $125,000 (Commensurate based on experience).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Source quality consignments from private collectors, trade dealers and retailers
- Ensure property is authenticated and evaluate condition when estimating
- Negotiate consignor terms under company guidelines
- Create and proofread catalog descriptions and marketing materials
- Market specific consignments to valued clients
- Review settlements and wires
- Attend trade shows and conventions to obtain consignments, develop strategic partnerships, and evaluate the current marketplace
- Assist with processing incoming consignments
- Ensure accuracy of details in consignment paperwork
- Proactively follow up on pending requests and outstanding issues
- Assist with gallery previews on and off-site
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
Requirements
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
5+ years of experience within Timepieces in a major auction house and/or experience as a watch dealer
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Word and Excel
- Ability to multitask and pay great attention to detail
- Must have a positive attitude with exceptional customer service skills
- Public speaking talents are a plus!
