Construction Materials Lab Technician

Braun Intertec is seeking a Construction Materials Lab Technician to join our Bloomington, MN office. As a technician, you will perform a variety of testing on construction materials such as soils, concrete, masonry, and asphalt.

Responsibilities

• •Receive and log concrete and soil samples
• •Performs and understand various laboratory test procedures
• •Assist in AMRL and CCRL (regulatory standards) assessments
• •Assist with Braun Quality system for the laboratory
• •Enter and understand lab data
• •Maintain laboratory equipment in good operating condition.
• •Other miscellaneous laboratory tasks as assigned

Required Skills

• •Ability to work independently
• •Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• •Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• •Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• •ACI, MnDOT and related industry certifications preferred

Required Experience

• •High School diploma or equivalent
• •2+ years of construction materials lab experience
• •Must have valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
• •The ability to lift 50-75+ pounds

Compensation Range:

$43,600.00 - $65,400.00
