Description

Roundhouse Construction| Boise, ID | Full-time, on-site with local job site travel

Roundhouse is hiring a Construction Project Manager to lead multifamily residential construction projects in the Boise area. You'll own projects from pre-construction through completion, managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and the teams that bring each building to life. The role includes a zero-cost employee medical plan, a 401(k) match, and a vehicle allowance.

  • You build the places people will call home.
  • You see a project whole, from the first budget line to the final walkthrough. You keep architects, engineers, and subcontractors moving in the same direction, catch problems before they cost time or money, and hold every build to a standard you're proud to put your name on. If that sounds like you, we want to meet you.

What you'll own

  • Manage multifamily construction projects day to day, including timelines, budgets, and work plans
  • Lead a project team of contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and consultants
  • Build and manage project budgets, approve subcontractor invoices and change orders, and mitigate risks to cost and schedule
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, and adjust them as the project changes
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure adherence to contract terms and project specifications
  • Support procurement of materials and subcontractors
  • Conduct site inspections, manage safety protocols, and keep all work compliant with safety regulations, quality standards, and local building codes
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, vendors, and stakeholders, with regular progress updates
  • Anticipate construction challenges and solve them before they become delays or cost overruns
  • Exercise sound judgment on budget approvals, contract negotiations, and risk management

What you bring

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience in multifamily or similar construction
  • A track record of managing large-scale residential or multifamily projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction procedures, safety regulations, and Boise-area building codes
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, Primavera, or Smartsheet
  • Strong collaboration skills with internal teams and external partners
  • The ability to travel to job sites across the Boise area

A leg up if you have

A bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field

Pay and benefits

  • Annual discretionary bonus
  • Medical (including a zero-cost employee plan), dental, and vision
  • 401(k) with employer match
  • Paid time off plus 9 paid holidays
  • Paid maternity and parental leave
  • Vehicle allowance and cell phone stipend
  • Employee Housing Discount
  • Company-paid life insurance, plus short- and long-term disability options
  • Mental wellness program and Perks at Work discounts
  • Professional development support, peer recognition, and years-of-service awards
  • About Roundhouse
