The Job
The Content Analyst II primary purpose is to maintain master data for all items, manage Ace’s product catalog including items stocked in our retail support centers and drop shipped directly from the vendor, and manage special projects. Time for the content analyst II will be split 50% on master data, 25% on the product catalog and 25% on special projects.
What you’ll do
- Identify root cause of data errors causing inconsistencies or inaccurate data. Train the appropriate teams within Ace and its vendor community on the error and solution. Create procedures to ensure all processes are being followed. If needed, work to correct the issue through new or updated procedural documentation and training or creating IT enhancement requests
- Evaluate, correct, enrich and approve data utilizing the Product Content Management (PCM) and SAP systems ensuring that all product information adheres to the 3 Cs; Consistent, Complete, Correct.
- Create and maintain events and bulletin data to support the EJD and Ace conventions
- Research and document current processes and proposed future state for approved projects. Turn that information into requirements and communicate to the appropriate parties
- Verify programs in the quality assurance and production environments by testing all test cases, then communicate to appropriate parties like retailers, vendors, or internal partners
- Gain and maintain knowledge of the competition, industry trends, and technical aspects of specific product lines
- Maintain taxonomy structure and data configuration ensuring consumers can easily find product on Ace’s consumer and retailer websites
- Audit new item approval and maintenance changes as completed by external partners. If errors are found, update or create new SOPs and train partner on procedure. Continue to monitor until issue is fully resolved

- Self-motivated, detail oriented, adaptable and able to handle multiple tasks to meet established deadlines
- Ability to solve problems, analyze potential solutions and use good sound judgment to make decisions.
- Strong commitment to ensuring quality and exceeding customer satisfaction expectations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to build and maintain strong and effective customer service and internal relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with the ability to listen for understanding.
- Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of related work experience or demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience
- Strong computer skills that include Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SAP, and graphic arts applications.
- Hardware industry product knowledge a plus.

$66000 - $82600 Per Year
