THE JOB:

The primary responsibility of the Convention Services and Catering Coordinator is to provide administrative and clerical support to the department.

THE STARTING RATE: $19.00

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• •Provide excellent service consistent with the property's core service standards and brand
• •Partner with managers to have a thorough understanding of each program assigned.
• •Answer and direct all incoming telephone calls with a smile; assist in responding to customer correspondence and requests
• •Prepare guest reservations and guest amenities
• •Input program information into Amadeus/Delphi including notes, events, updates, etc.
• •Maintain files and access to highly sensitive and confidential information
• •Assist in the handling of clients of the assigned Director and/or Manager as needed in his/her absence
• •Manage catering inquiries, including phone and email communication with clients
• •Prepare and distribute the Daily Event Sheet from the BEOs to all departments
• •Complete and distribute reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• •Accurately prepare the BEOs to meet specifications given by clients and/or Managers and process all changes in a timely manner

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• •1+ years of prior relevant experience in a related position, or equivalent education and experience
• •Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• •High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• •Must be 18 years of age or older
