Schedule

Our kitchen operates between 5:30 AM and 6:30 PM , giving you a better work-life balance than traditional restaurant hours.

Current shifts include:

• •5:30 AM – 1:30 PM
• •10:30 AM – 6:30 PM

Enjoy predictable scheduling and be home long before most restaurant kitchens close.

What You'll Do

As a Cook at Waterford Senior Living, you'll prepare fresh, nutritious meals that residents look forward to every day.

Responsibilities include:

• •Preparing breakfast, lunch, and dinner according to planned menus and standardized recipes.
• •Cooking meals that accommodate therapeutic diets, modified textures, and resident preferences.
• •Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served with quality and consistency.
• •Monitoring food temperatures and completing required food safety documentation.
• •Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
• •Assisting with inventory, stocking, and proper food storage.
• •Working closely with the Dietary Manager and kitchen team.
• •Assisting with holiday meals, resident celebrations, and special events.

Restaurant, café, catering, banquet, school, hospital, or senior living cooking experience is welcomed—but not required . If you have a passion for cooking, we'll teach you the rest!

Requirements

Qualifications

• •Must be at least 18 years of age.
• •Ability to pass a Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check.
• •Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• •Ability to stand for extended periods.
• •Food Safety Certification is preferred but not required.
