About The Job:

• Works as a team member with one or more cooks in the daily operations of the department for patient and employee food service.
• Responsible for preparation and delivery of all meals to patients including regular and therapeutic diets.
• Responsible for general departmental sanitation.
• Responsible for preparation of all entrees, soups, hot food, and all baked goods for all service points including patients, staff, physicians, visitors and catering.

What we are looking for:

Education [formal]:

High School diploma or equivalent certificate required.

Experience:

1 years' experience in food service preferred.

Special Skills and Competencies:

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to perform detailed assignments, follow directions, work under pressure, and readily adapt to change in routine and work assignments.
