WME seeks a talented and highly motivated lawyer to join its Business Affairs department in Nashville as a Coordinator. This position will support the global Music Business Affairs group along with the music agents in the US. This is a high-volume practice with tight timeframes.

Job Description

Work independently to review and negotiate contracts, draft legal letters;

Legal research and reporting;

Manage and update our database of precedent; and the grids, checklists and forms used by the Business Affairs group;

Be fluent in the use of MS PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheets and familiar with AI tools;

Provide presentations/training to the BA team and music assistants where required;

Advise assistants on ad-hoc legal/business affairs issues;

The role includes some admin support as well as assisting with legal work. This admin may include dealing with expenses, scheduling and general document work.

Qualifications

J.D. required;

Admitted to Tennessee or New York state bar;

1+ year of previous transactional legal/business affairs experience;

Excellent drafting, analytical, and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail;

A curious mind and ability to work proactively and use initiative;

Able to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines with efficiency and accuracy;

Able to communicate clearly and concisely with clients of all levels, both internally and externally in a fast-paced environment;

Be team-orientated, focused, hard-working, and committed.
