YOOX are now seeking a talented Cost Controller to join the team. Some of the essentials for you to know are:

Location: Our offices in Zola Predosa (Bologna) or Interporto (Bentivoglio, BO) - depending on candidates' preference.

Contract Type: Permanent

Starting Annual Gross Base Salary : From 35.000€

Here is a breakdown of what you’ll be doing:

Support the company’s cost control strategy in alignment with overall corporate objectives;

Manage and/or support the annual budgeting process and multi-year financial planning related to operating and manufacturing costs;

Oversee the monthly financial close process, including the preparation of SOX documentation;

Lead monthly cost analysis activities, developing and maintaining strong relationships with key business partners;

Proactively identify, assess, and recommend value-added opportunities to business partners;

Provide in-depth analysis of variances versus Budget and Prior Year;

Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management;

Perform ad hoc financial analyses for internal stakeholders and develop business cases across multiple business areas;

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies;

Support internal and external audit activities;

Maintain a robust internal control framework within the cost controlling function.

​ The type of person we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Management Engineering or related disciplines;

At least 2/3 years of experience in Controlling / Cost Controlling roles, preferably within structured or multinational environments;

Advanced proficiency in Exce l, including advanced formulas and pivot tables;

Knowledge of Microsoft Navision and Power BI is considered a plus;

Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;

Strong numerical mindset with a solid analytical orientation ;

High level of accuracy, reliability and attention to detail;

Familiarity with structured processes and internal control frameworks;

Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders;

Team-oriented mindset paired with the ability to manage assigned activities independently;

Ability to work towards objectives and meet deadlines;

Proactive attitude and continuous improvement mindset.
