Credit Control Officer - 12 month FTC About Reece

You probably know Reece as Australia’s largest supplier of plumbing and bathroom products.

But we’re more than plumbing. We’re a business built on great people, strong customer relationships and finding better ways to support the trade every day. With 800+ branches, 9,000 team members and teams across Australia, New Zealand and the United States, there’s plenty happening at Reece — and this is a great time to join us. We’re looking for an experienced Credit Control Officer to help support our branches and customers as we work towards being the trade’s most valued partner.

POSITION OBJECTIVE

The role of the Credit Control Officer is to provide ongoing support to Credit Manager to achieve the company vision and successfully implement the Greatness Blueprint.

In this role, you’ll be part of a close-knit credit control team that works closely with our branches and customers. You’ll assess new account applications, help make practical credit decisions and keep things moving through clear communication, sound judgement and a helpful approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review new account applications, including credit reports and risk assessments.
  • Talk to customers and branches about account applications (approvals and declines), managing a mix of inbound and outbound calls.
  • Work with our branch network to resolve account queries, including payments and invoicing.
  • Set, monitor and update customer credit limits.
  • Build trusted relationships with customers, branches and internal teams.

About you

  • You’re a clear and confident communicator who enjoys working with people.
  • You bring credit experience, or experience in a similar role with transferable skills.
  • You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office.
  • You have strong attention to detail and can manage your time and priorities.
  • You build strong working relationships across teams, branches, customers and stakeholders.
  • You enjoy a busy environment and can stay calm when priorities change.
  • You’re self-motivated, solutions-focused and comfortable working to deadlines.
  • You’re curious, open to feedback and always looking for ways to learn and improve.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you. Bring your customer focus and problem-solving skills to a team that really values what you do. Apply now and take the next step with Reece.
