Description

  • Critical Care Transport Nurse:
  • NORCAL Ambulance is Northern California’s largest and most respected Critical Care Transport provider , trusted by leading health systems across the region. Our nurse-led program is built on clinical excellence, strong leadership, and a commitment to providing safe, exceptional care on every transport.

We are hiring experienced Critical Care Transport Nurses (CCTRNs) to join our Bay Area Division in part-time and per-diem positions.

  • Why NORCAL:
  • At NORCAL, nurses lead the way. You’ll be part of a program where experienced clinical leaders understand your role, back you with real-time support, and give you the chance to focus on the care you want to provide your patients.

From your first day, we set you up for success with a structured orientation to ground you in our culture, systems, and standards. Simulation and skills labs, and hands-on preceptorship alongside seasoned CCTRNs will make you a confident CCTRN.

Once you’re on your own, the support continues with our 24/7 clinical leadership team and peer network, always just a call away. You’ll also work alongside CCT-trained EMTs who share your commitment to patient care and bring a strong sense of teamwork, making every shift both collaborative and rewarding.

You will have access to advanced equipment that gives you the confidence to manage even the sickest patients. With Tempus Pro monitors , LTV 1200 ventilators , Airvo high-flow nasal cannula , and Sapphire IV pumps , every transport is supported with the right tools. This allows you to safely care for a diverse population, from complex trauma and ICU transfers to pediatric critical care , while knowing you’re backed by the best technology and a strong, supportive team.
