Join us as an CSR Programme and Marketing Communications (Menuju Gemilang) Intern , where you will gain hands-on experience in corporate responsibility, programme management, content creation, marketing communications, and community engagement. You will support the delivery of Menuju Gemilang Maxis eKelas , Maxis' flagship CSR programme, while helping amplify its impact through storytelling, digital content, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. CSR Programme Management & Coordination

Assist in the day-to-day coordination and execution of Menuju Gemilang programme activities.

Support the planning and maintenance of programme timelines, schedules, and content calendars to ensure key milestones are achieved.

Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth programme delivery.

Contribute to initiatives that enhance programme effectiveness and participant engagement.

2. Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting

Support the tracking and monitoring of programme participation, engagement, and outcomes.

Assist in compiling programme data, financial records, receipts, and supporting documentation.

Help prepare reports, presentations, and programme updates for internal stakeholders.

Support administrative processes to ensure accurate record-keeping, compliance, and audit readiness.

3. Event & Logistics Management

Assist in the planning and execution of programme-related events, workshops, and community engagements.

Support the procurement and coordination of event materials, marketing collaterals, merchandise, banners, and related resources.

Provide on-site logistical support during programme activities and events.

Ensure event preparations are completed efficiently and aligned with programme objectives.

4. Marketing Communications & Content Development

Assist in developing and maintaining content calendars across CSR programmes and digital platforms.

Support the creation of engaging communication materials, including social media content, newsletters, presentations, and promotional assets.

Help ensure messaging remains consistent, relevant, and aligned with the organisation's corporate responsibility objectives.

Contribute creative ideas to enhance programme visibility and stakeholder engagement.

5. Storytelling & Video Content Creation

Assist in producing short-form video content, including storyboarding, filming, editing, and publishing.

Conduct interviews with programme participants, stakeholders, and beneficiaries to capture meaningful stories and experiences.

Support scriptwriting for promotional videos, social media campaigns, newsletters, and programme communications.

Create compelling content that showcases programme impact and inspires community engagement.

Value-Added Project Exposure

Gain practical experience in managing large-scale CSR and community development initiatives.

Participate in projects involving marketing communications, digital storytelling, and stakeholder engagement.

Develop hands-on skills in content creation, video production, programme coordination, and event management.

Contribute to initiatives that create meaningful social impact and support educational empowerment programmes.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications

Education

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, Mass Communication, or a related field.

Soft Skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Creative mindset with an interest in storytelling, content creation, and social impact initiatives.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Proactive, resourceful, and willing to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Good collaboration and stakeholder management skills.

Technical Skills

Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 applications.

Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content creation.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in video editing tools such as CapCut or similar software.

Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Canva .

Interest in CSR, sustainability, community development, and marketing communications.

Basic analytical skills to support programme tracking and reporting activities.
