CT Technnologist II- Per Diem

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.42 - $56.45 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• •Sign on Bonus: $1,000
• •Position: CT Technologist
• •Location: Evanston Hospital
• •Full Time/Part Time: Resource/PRN
• •Hours: 2pm-10:30pm, rotating weekends

• •Per Diem Commitment Level: Per Diem Level 1: 32-72 hrs. or Per Diem Level 2: 73-110 hrs. or Per Diem Level 3: 111-144 hrs./ per 6-week schedule
• •Required Travel: Yes

What you will need:

• •Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
• •Certification: CPR Certification required; Advanced CT Certification required, ARRT Registered required
• •License: IEMA license
• •Experience: Previous CT Technologist experience – at least 5 years preferred
• •Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required

What you will do:

• •Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
• •Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
• •Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner
• •Review CT's to ensure optimum quality
