Position Details:

Mercy Hospital Springfield - Inpatient

Nights: 8:30pm to 7:00AM

No call

Overview :

The CT (Computed Tomography) Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires operating imaging equipment, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality imaging standards. The CT Technologist must also effectively communicate with patients and healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• •Education: Graduate of an accredited Imaging Program and completion of required clinical hours.
• •Experience: No experience required
• •Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice.
• •Certification/Registration: Obtained ARRT registry OR Registry eligible (Achieve registry within 6 months of eligibility); Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• •Proficiency in operating imaging equipment.
• •Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
• •Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• •Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Physical Requirements:

• •Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• •Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• •Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
