Job Description

Peterson Cat has the immediate need for a Part-Time Custodian at our North Bend location. Shift- Monday-Friday 2:00pm to 6:00 pm.

The Custodian is responsible for day-to-day cleaning and upkeep of one or more Peterson facilities. Depending on assignment and location, this role may occasionally assist with clerical duties for the Facilities department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• •Sweep, mop, and scrub all floors.
• •Empty trash, garbage, and recycling containers daily.
• •Clean and wash walls, windows, door panels, and sills.
• •Clean all restroom fixtures and refill dispensers.
• •Dust furniture, walls, machines, and furniture.
• •Complete assigned online training by the established due date(s).
• •Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.

Depending on assignment and location, this role may assist up to 30% of the time with clerical duties including but not limited to reviewing maintenance work orders, document scanning and filing, email communications, and updating expense spreadsheets.

• •Basic computer skills are required, including ability to:
• •Navigate basic computer systems and programs.
• •Use a computer to clock in and out of work.

• •Effectively communicate via email and other communication platforms (i.e. Microsoft Teams).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); and a minimum of one (1) year of experience as a custodian, preferably in a heavy industrial environment; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

CERTIFICATES, LICENCENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have ability to obtain a lift truck certification.
