About the Role

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Cybersecurity Interns to join our Cybersecurity team. This opportunity is designed for students and recent graduates who are passionate about cybersecurity and want to gain practical exposure to real-world security operations, assessments, tools, and methodologies.

The selected candidates will work closely with experienced cybersecurity professionals and gain exposure to various areas of cybersecurity based on business requirements, skills, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the cybersecurity team in day-to-day security activities and operational tasks.
  • Support security monitoring, analysis, and investigation activities.
  • Assist in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing activities across web, network, and application environments.
  • Support Application Security testing and basic security validation activities.
  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and tracking security vulnerabilities.
  • Perform basic analysis of security alerts, logs, and events under the guidance of senior team members.
  • Support cybersecurity assessments, audits, and compliance-related activities.
  • Assist in preparing technical reports, documentation, and security assessment findings.
  • Research emerging cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, attack techniques, and security best practices.
  • Participate in security awareness and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Follow defined security processes, methodologies, and documentation standards.
  • Collaborate with team members to support ongoing cybersecurity projects.

Eligibility

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in:
  • Computer Science
  • Information Technology
  • Cybersecurity
  • Information Security
  • Electronics & Telecommunications
  • or a related technical field.
  • Strong interest in building a career in Cybersecurity.
  • Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, web technologies, and cybersecurity concepts.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Windows operating systems is an advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of security tools such as Nmap, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Wireshark, Metasploit, or SIEM platforms is an added advantage.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications or training such as CEH, Security+, or equivalent will be an advantage.

  • Ability to learn new technologies and security concepts quickly.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to document technical information clearly.
  • Strong interest in cybersecurity research and emerging threats.

  • Professional attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
