Job Summary

We are looking for a Data Scientist with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to work on data science projects with a strong focus on forecasting and predictive modeling . The ideal candidate should have strong practical experience in Python , software development best practices, and building reliable and maintainable data science solutions. Experience with Azure-based data and machine learning platforms will be an added advantage.

1. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain data science solutions with a focus on forecasting use cases .
  • Analyze datasets to identify patterns, trends, and insights relevant to business requirements.
  • Build, evaluate, and improve forecasting and predictive models .
  • Prepare and transform data required for model development and analysis.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  • Ensure developed solutions are reliable, maintainable, and suitable for deployment.
  • Monitor model performance and support continuous improvement of existing forecasting solutions.
  • Document models, methodologies, assumptions, and project outcomes.

2. Must-Have Skills

  • 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience in Data Science.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python for data science and model development.
  • Hands-on experience with forecasting and predictive modeling techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Modularization.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and Version Control practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Unit Testing.
  • Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and software development practices.
  • Good level of written and spoken English .

3. Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with Azure Databricks .
  • Experience with Azure Machine Learning , particularly Jobs and Pipelines .
  • Knowledge of YAML configurations .
  • Hands-on experience with PySpark .
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar task management tools .
