As a Design Verification Engineer at Micron, you will collaborate with design and verification teams to develop next-generation DRAM and emerging memory technologies. You will contribute to the verification of sophisticated, high-density memory products featuring advanced functionality, ultra-high-speed interfaces, low-power architectures, and power management technologies. Working closely with global engineering teams, you will apply verification methodologies, automation, and industry-leading practices while continuing to grow your technical expertise.

Develop a working grasp of build functionality, architecture, and timing requirements.

Contribute to the development of verification environments and automation solutions.

Help improve verification methodologies, flows, and engineering productivity.

Apply AI-assisted tools and modern automation technologies to improve verification efficiency and productivity.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

Develop and implement verification plans, test scenarios, patterns, and regressions to achieve coverage goals.

Debug design and verification issues, perform root-cause analysis, and help drive issues to resolution.

Analyze functionality and timing requirements to support comprehensive verification coverage.

Support bug tracking, coverage closure, and verification signoff for assigned work.

Partner with design engineers and multi-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.

Develop scripts and automation solutions to improve verification efficiency and productivity.

Contribute to the execution of verification strategies for new product features.

Share technical knowledge and collaborate with peers, seeking guidance from experienced team members as needed.

Education & Experience Vital for Success:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, or Master's degree or equivalent experience, in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar field.

Solid understanding of CMOS circuits and semiconductor fundamentals.

Hands-on experience with digital and/or analog verification methodologies.

Working knowledge of SystemVerilog, UVM, SystemVerilog Assertions (SVA), and verification techniques used to measure test completeness.

Working proficiency with simulation and verification tools such as SpectreFX, Xcelium, Verilog, and other industry-standard tools.

Experience with scripting and automation using Python, Perl, or similar languages.

Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and collaboration skills in a global engineering environment.

Experience with Cadence and Synopsys tools is valued.

Experience in DRAM, memory products, or semiconductor verification is preferred.

Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and a commitment to adopting AI-enabled ways of working to improve engineering efficiency, accelerate problem-solving, and support continuous innovation is highly desirable.
