The Detail Helper performs complete detailing duties to distributor vehicles prior to delivery to the dealership.

Responsibilities:

  • Removes wrap guard and decos from vehicle
  • Chemical washes new and used vehicles (RPs) to address industrial fallout and rail dust
  • Performs engine degreasing utilizing a powered pressure washer
  • Removes plastic covers and scrapes tags off windows
  • Applies vinyl, leather, and fabric protection
  • Cleans windows, vacuums and de-odorizes interior of used vehicles
  • Applies polish /wax or sealant to exterior of vehicle
  • Dresses tires
  • Ensures that all excess polish or sealant is removed from visible areas of the vehicle
  • Stages vehicle in proper area after work is completed
  • Keeps work area clean and safe

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Auto experience washing and detailing vehicles preferred, including working with various detailing equipment and cleaning chemicals
  • Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission for a variety of vehicle sizes
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Quality focused and safety conscious
  • Team player with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
