Job Description & Summary

The Opportunity

As a Detroit - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies. You will support teams by participating in projects and conducting research, contributing to the success of the team while developing your personal brand. Within our Assurance practice, you will be part of a team that provides independent and objective assessments, helping clients focus on driving their business forward.

As an Intern, you will focus on learning and gaining exposure to professional work environments. You will perform basic tasks, observe, and participate in projects, applying a learning mindset to develop your potential. You will be encouraged to actively listen, ask questions, and express ideas clearly, while appreciating diverse perspectives and contributing to the team's success.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of assignments, each presenting unique challenges and scope. Responsibilities

  • - Supporting audit teams in conducting independent assessments of financial reporting
  • - Participating in the application of auditing methodologies to enhance transparency and compliance
  • - Observing and learning from experienced auditors to gain insights into regulatory requirements
  • - Assisting in the evaluation of internal controls and governance frameworks
  • - Engaging in basic tasks related to data quality assurance and validation processes
  • - Collaborating with teams to apply cloud engineering principles in audit processes
  • - Contributing to the development and testing of artificial intelligence platforms for audit purposes
  • - Gathering information to analyze facts and discern patterns in financial data
  • - Applying a learning mindset to develop personal and professional skills in audit and assurance

What You Must Have

  • - Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
  • - At least a 3.0 overall GPA
  • - Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
  • - Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
