Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.

Accountabilities

• •Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• •Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• •Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• •Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• •Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• •Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

As a Digital Senior Functional Analyst you will support the organisation, achieve its strategic objectives by the identification of business requirements and solutions that address business problems and opportunities.

To be a successful Digital Senior Functional Analyst you should have experience with:

• •Functional Analysis: Requirements elicitation and analysis, Business process modelling, User story creation
• •Digital Product Management: Digital channel enhancement, Product lifecycle management, Customer journey mapping, UX requirement definition, Workflow and process automation, Digital transformation initiatives
• •Technical Understanding: API and integration concepts, Web and mobile application architecture, SQL and data analysis, Reporting and dashboards, Cloud and microservices concepts (preferred)
• •Agile delivery: Backlog management, JIRA, Concluence
• •12-16 years of experience as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Digital Analyst.
• •Minimum 5 years of experience delivering digital transformation initiatives.
• •Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• •Strong stakeholder management and requirement management experience.
• •Experience working with technology delivery teams and vendors.

Additional relevant skills given below are highly valued:

• •Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• •MBA, CFA, CBAP, CSM, CSPO, or equivalent certifications preferred.
• •Digital Product Management certifications are advantageous.
• •Ability to mentor engineers and drive automation-first quality engineering culture across teams.
