  • Create training for employees across business lines, including training applicable to closed-end and open-end consumer lending products.
  • Translate regulations, policies, procedures, examination findings, monitoring results, complaints, and emerging risks into digestible content.
  • Partner with subject-matter experts and business leaders to ensure training is accurate, timely, understandable, and aligned with operational responsibilities.
  • Establish training requirements, learning objectives, proper assignment, completion standards, escalation processes, and methods for measuring effectiveness.
  • Coordinate new-hire, annual, targeted, remedial, and regulatory-change training.
  • Maintain training records and reporting necessary to demonstrate completion, accountability, and program effectiveness.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, compliance, legal studies, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Significant experience in financial-services compliance, preferably within consumer lending, banking, credit, fintech, or another highly regulated financial-services environment.

  • Ability to interpret complex requirements and convert them into clear, practical business processes and controls.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively across business, product, operations, legal, risk, and compliance functions.

What would make you stand out:

  • Ten or more years of progressive compliance experience, including substantial experience supporting consumer lending products and processes.
  • Experience across a broad range of closed-end and open-end consumer lending products, such as installment loans, credit cards, retail installment contracts, lease-to-own financing, or other consumer credit products.
