Role Purpose
You will lead the technology infrastructure that keeps LA28's teams connected, secure, and productive on the way to the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. As Director, Infrastructure Operations, you own the office infrastructure environment, from Microsoft Entra, 365, and Intune to endpoint, network, and cloud security. You lead a team of five engineers and analysts, manage third-party providers against contract service levels, and maintain a strong cybersecurity posture as the organization grows toward Games time and the operational demands of a global event.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the office infrastructure environment, including Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365, Intune, Google Workspace, Slack, and other enterprise technologies.
Manage third-party network, hardware, conference room technology, and endpoint service providers to agreed contract SLAs while continuously improving service quality.
Implement and maintain a strong cybersecurity stance, including DLP, PAM, and ADM support and cloud-based security best practices.
Support breach and attack simulations, and lead response to cybersecurity incidents across endpoints, servers, and cloud services.
Lead a team of five infrastructure engineers and analysts across endpoint, server, cloud security, asset management, and service desk.
Required Competencies
Minimum 8 years of experience leading enterprise infrastructure operations, service delivery, and security in complex, multi-partner environments.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra, Office 365, and Intune, including strong identity management using Entra and Saviynt.
Hands-on experience with Zscaler, CrowdStrike, Mimecast, and PAM and IAM support in a cloud-based security environment.
Experience with WorkspaceOne (Omnissa) and ServiceNow for endpoint management, asset management, and IT service delivery at scale.
Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks, service delivery, and security frameworks, with a proven record of measurably improving service quality.
Valued Experience
Experience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms.
Some experience with Google identity management.
Strong leadership in a complex, layered environment with multiple partners and managed services.
Experience running breach and attack simulations.
Experience implementing data loss prevention (DLP) controls.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.
The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.
Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
Perform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Compensation
The annual base salary range for this position is $126,000.00 – $182,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
