Key Responsibilities

Develop and executive a strategic sales plan in collaboration with senior sales leadership to drive partner acquisition and Assets Under Management (AUM) growth within Asian markets across Canada.

Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with Financial Advisors, investment professionals, and distribution partners through phone, virtual, and in-person meetings.

Identify, engage, and cultivate new business opportunities within the financial advisor network to expand Pier 4's market presence.

Deliver presentations, product overviews, and market insights that clearly communicate the value of Pier 4's investment offerings.

Provide advisors with ongoing support, education, and guidance regarding market conditions, investment products, and industry developments.

Represent Pier 4 at meetings, conferences, roadshows, networking events, and industry functions to enhance brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.

Proactively follow up on meetings, events, and business development activities to advance opportunities and maintain strong advisor relationships.

Maintain accurate records of advisor interactions, sales activities, and opportunities within CRM system.

Achieve and exceed established sales targets, business development objectives, and annual production goals.

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a best-in-class advisor and partner experience.

Act as a brand ambassador for Pier 4 by exemplifying the company's values of Professionalism, Integrity, Excellence, and Respect.

Crucial Knowledge & Skills

Fluency in both English and Mandarin, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

Strong understanding of financial services, investment products, capital raising, and advisor distribution channels.

Knowledge of alternative investment, private market investments, real estate investment strategies, and REIT structures.

Proven ability to develop and maintain trusted relationships with Financial Advisors, investment professionals, and business partners.

Exceptional presentation, consultative sales, networking, and relationship management skills.

Strong business development mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and convert prospects into long-term partners.

Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and communicate complex investment concepts effectively to diverse audiences.

Strong understanding of market trends, competitor offerings, and industry best practices.

Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and driven to achieve ambitious sales and growth objectives.

Proficiency with CRM systems and sales reporting tools.

Strong collaboration and teamwork skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.

Passion for real estate, alternative investments, and building long-term client relationships.

Education & Experience Required

Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services, investment sales, wealth management, asset management, or a comparable business development role.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and business development objectives.

Experience working with Financial Advisors, investment professionals, dealer networks, or distribution partners.

Demonstrated success developing new business relationships and growing assets under management or investment sales.

Experience serving Mandarin-speaking clients, advisors, or business partners.

Industry licensing and designations such as CSC, IFIC, CFP, CFA, or related financial credentials are considered an asset.

Experience prompting investment products, alternative investments, private capital offerings, or real estate investment solutions is considered an asset.

Additional Details

Competitive Salary Range: $70,000-120,000

Work Arrangement: Fully on-site, 5 days a week at 70 York Street, Toronto.
