Job Overview
The Divisional Vice President is a senior retail leader responsible for the overall performance, culture, talent, and execution of an assigned division encompassing multiple regions and store locations.
In this highly visible leadership role, you will lead and develop Regional Sales Directors while driving consistent execution of Bob’s strategy across the division. You will have full ownership for achieving key business outcomes, including sales growth, profitability, operational excellence, customer experience, staffing, retention, engagement, and talent readiness.
You’ll serve as a critical connection between Store leadership and our Home Office partners, translating Company priorities into actionable strategies and ensuring Regional Sales Directors and their teams have the clarity, resources, and accountability needed to deliver results. Above all, you will champion Bob’s culture and ensure we continue to grow our business while maintaining the Bob’s Way of doing business.
This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Retail and will oversee stores across the Southeast, including Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina (final territory to be confirmed). This is a hybrid role requiring regular travel throughout the assigned division. We are ideally targeting candidates based in FL.

Core Competencies & Expertise
Multi-Region Business Leadership: Own overall divisional performance across multiple regions and stores, ensuring Regional Sales Directors consistently execute against Company goals, priorities, standards, and expectations.
Sales & Profitability: Develop and execute divisional strategies that enable teams to meet or exceed sales, category, conversion, attachment, margin, profitability, and other key performance objectives.
Financial Acumen: Analyze P&L performance, EBIT, payroll, staffing investments, controllable expenses, productivity, margin risks, and regional scorecards to identify opportunities and drive appropriate action.
Operational Excellence: Establish and maintain consistent operating rhythms across the division, including regional business reviews, store and market visits, initiative follow-up, staffing discussions, talent reviews, and executive updates.
Strategic Thinking & Planning: Translate Company priorities into actionable divisional and regional strategies that address current business needs, support growth, strengthen talent pipelines, and improve long-term performance.
Customer Experience: Ensure consistent execution of Bob’s customer experience and selling standards across the division by driving accountability through Regional Sales Directors and store leadership teams.
Talent & Workforce Strategy: Maintain visibility into staffing, leadership readiness, retention, engagement, succession planning, and talent pipelines across the division, ensuring workforce plans align with current and future business needs.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze sales, staffing, retention, engagement, customer experience, financial, and operational data to identify trends, root causes, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Build strong partnerships across Merchandising, Visual, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Loss Prevention, Operations, Finance, Training, Real Estate, and other enterprise functions to remove barriers and advance Company priorities.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve divisional routines, regional business reviews, staffing processes, talent governance, and communication practices to increase consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness.
Leadership Competencies
People Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop Regional Sales Directors while fostering collaboration, ownership, executive presence, accountability, and a strong connection to Bob’s culture.
Talent Development & Succession: Assess talent depth and succession gaps across the division, identify high-potential leaders, and ensure Regional Sales Directors are actively developing Store Managers and future leaders.
Accountability: Establish clear expectations, monitor performance, address gaps, and provide constructive coaching and follow-up to ensure commitments translate into measurable results.
Leading Through Others: Effectively delegate ownership of regional performance, talent initiatives, business reviews, and action plans while maintaining appropriate visibility and accountability.
Sound Judgment: Navigate complex business and people situations across multiple regions and make balanced, timely decisions aligned with Company priorities and values.
Communication & Influence: Deliver clear, concise, and actionable communication to Regional Sales Directors, senior leadership, store teams, and cross-functional partners.
Conflict Management: Navigate competing priorities and resolve challenges across regions and functions by maintaining focus on shared goals and business outcomes.
Ability to Motivate: Inspire Regional Sales Directors and store leadership teams to elevate performance, strengthen culture, and sustain accountability.
Execution & Results: Establish priorities, monitor progress, identify and remove barriers, and ensure Regional Sales Directors deliver measurable and sustainable improvement.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years of progressive multi-unit retail leadership experience.
Demonstrated experience leading leaders across multiple regions, markets, and store locations.
Proven ability to drive sales, profitability, operational execution, and customer experience across a complex multi-unit retail organization.
Strong financial and business acumen with experience analyzing P&L performance, payroll,
