Job Description
Create precision designs for mission-critical RF and microwave products. Teledyne Technologies is a leading provider of high-power microwave components for aerospace, defense, and industrial applications. What you’ll do
- Prepare detailed layouts and drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies using 2D and 3D software
- Support larger projects involving product structuring and documentation
- Check drawings for compliance with internal and industry standards
- Become proficient in software tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, PDM, Vault, Altium, PADs, and MasterControl
- Facilitate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and incorporate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
- Prepare drawings from rough sketches or general instructions and maintain revision control
- Operate plotters, printers, and scanners to produce hard-copy drawings
- Interface effectively with engineers, program managers, and staff at all levels
What you need
- 5–10 years of experience in drafting, design, or related technical field (required)
- AS degree in Drafting, Design, or similar (preferred)
- Senior-level experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent (required)
- Knowledge of mechanical drafting/modeling, dimensioning, and GD&T tolerancing (required)
- Altium/board layout experience (advantage)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required)
- Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees)

Salary Range:
$50,600.00-$67,500.000
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
