- MC Truck Driver - Linehaul & Freight Transport
- Location: Gracemere, QLD
At Team Global Express, we're committed to delivering reliable freight solutions that keep Australia moving. We are seeking experienced and safety-focused MC Truck Drivers to join our growing transport team.
The Role
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of freight while ensuring compliance with all road transport, safety, and fatigue management requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Completing pick-ups and deliveries in accordance with operational schedules and customer requirements
- Safely operating a range of automatic and manual heavy vehicles
- Conducting thorough pre-start and vehicle safety inspections
- Ensuring freight is loaded, restrained, and transported in line with company and safety requirements
- Correctly using load restraint equipment, including straps and chains were required
- Following all company policies, procedures, and safe work practices
- Reporting hazards, near misses, incidents, and safety concerns in a timely manner
- Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance requirements
- Contributing to a positive team culture with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
What You'll Bring
- Current and unrestricted MC Licence
- Experience in linehaul, interstate, or general freight operations
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to use handheld scanning/delivery technology.
- A strong commitment to safety and safe driving practices.
- Reliability and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced parcel environment.
