Electrician

Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities has an immediate opening for a Building Electrician at the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center & Entertainment Center. Under general supervision of the Electrical Supervisor & Director of Facilities, the Electrician's responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing facility electrical systems (120/208v, 120/240v, and 277/480v) and lighting systems, providing temporary power for food and beverage, and distributing show power for certain events.

• ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Required to perform commercial/industrial electrical work, including M &R of all electrical systems.
• Install receptacles, lighting fixtures, change ballasts and lamps.
• Provide temporary show power, when required, for certain events and for food and beverage.
• Assist other departments when required.

• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) plus successful completion of classroom electrical program or on-the-job electrical training.
• 2-4 years electrician work experience.
• Knowledge of safe work practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of electrical codes.
• Knowledge of proper use of tools, techniques, and equipment in the electrical trade.
• Must be able to work all shifts as needed: days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have basic tools used in the electrical trade.
