Jaxon is looking for an Electronics Technician to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO.

Salary: $20.00-$26.00 per hour with opportunity for overtime, plus per diems while traveling
Schedule: Full-Time
Travel Requirement: While this role is primarily a position located in Colorado Springs, an Electronics Technician should be prepared to travel as needed. Travel expenses are paid by the company.
Security Clearance Requirement: This role requires the ability and willingness to obtain a Department of Defense Secret or Top-Secret Clearance.

Primary Duties:
- Perform tasks outside of the electronics technician tasks if the Production Room is slow.
- Mount electronic and network components in cases, racks, and enclosures.
- Fabricate and process ribbon cable assemblies.
- Cut, strip, crimp, solder, and terminate small-gauge wiring.
- Install and terminate RF coaxial cables with attention to bend radius and connector integrity.
- Perform basic fiber optic preparation, cleaning, routing, and connection.
- Route and secure wiring harnesses and cable assemblies.
- Read and follow assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions.
- Conduct visual inspections and basic continuity testing.
- Maintain clean and organized workstations.
- Support inventory control and material handling activities.
- Adhere to quality, ESD, and safety requirements
Requirements
Required Job Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Ability to pass IPC-WHMA-A-620 certification
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools
- Ability to read basic assembly drawings and instructions
- Proficient with MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel
- Possess a valid driver's license
Desired Job Qualifications:
- J-STD-001 certification
- IPC-WHMA-A-620 certification
- Technical school coursework or vocational training
- Experience with cable assembly or electronics manufacturing
- Familiarity with RF coaxial cables and connectors
- Basic understanding of networking equipment and communications systems
- Experience with fiber optic handling and cleaning practices

Must have the ability or willingness to do the following:
- Obtain United States Passport
- Pull wire, use grinders, chop saws, drills, plasma cutters and both scissor lift & variable-reach forklifts
- Ability to bend over, kneel and crouch for long periods of time, & able to lift at least 50 lbs.
