Job Description:

  • Oversees staff performance and manages staffing, hiring, orientation, and disciplinary processes.
  • Fosters a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
  • Manages budgets and resources while maintaining appropriate staffing levels.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of healthcare finance and its impact on operations.
  • Leads and supports performance and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Implements evidence-based practice changes and ensures compliance with professional standards and hospital policies.
  • Uses critical thinking and technology to support decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Integrates new systems and technologies to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Provides strong leadership, mentorship, and support to staff.
  • Ensures the delivery of high-quality clinical care.
  • Supports staff development and ongoing professional education.
  • Maintains clear communication, coordination, and planning for patient care delivery.
  • Encourages interdisciplinary collaboration and promotes positive relationships with patients, families, staff, physicians, vendors, and other departments.
  • Promotes patient-centered care and supports patient, family, staff, and physician satisfaction.
  • Demonstrates professionalism, maintains confidentiality, and upholds ethical standards and organizational policies.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Educates and mentors staff to ensure adherence to clinical practice models and evidence-based practices.
  • Develops and implements policies, procedures, and process improvement initiatives in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
  • Understands the impact of satisfaction and quality outcomes on organizational business goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrates excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Develops outstanding rapport and works effectively with physicians and staff.
  • Maintains a strong focus on patient experience.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of regulatory standards, including The Joint Commission, OSHA, and specialty-specific standards preferred.
  • Communicates effectively and presents information to both large and small groups.
  • Demonstrates computer proficiency; Cerner medical record experience preferred.
  • Maintains clinical competencies and provides bedside assistance as needed.
  • Collaborates with leadership and staff to establish and refine goals aligned with the organization’s mission and objectives.
  • Considers the needs of all populations served when developing goals and initiatives.
  • Empowers and supports staff participation in educational opportunities, career growth, and professional development.
  • Demonstrates leadership behaviors and attitudes consistent with the organization’s philosophy, mission, and goals.
  • Maintains knowledge of state, federal, and regulatory standards governing services.
  • Ensures compliance by regularly updating policies, practices, and procedures.
  • Supervises staff and develops work schedules.
  • Monitors resource utilization and participates in budget oversight, with an emphasis on cost-saving measures.
  • Demonstrates strong prioritization and time-management skills.
  • Takes appropriate corrective action when necessary.
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's of Nursing [Required]
  • Master's of Nursing [Preferred]
  • Field of Study:
  • in Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Radiologic Technology or Respiratory Therapy
  • Work Experience:
  • 1+ critical care, emergency experience [Required]
  • 1+ years related experience [Required]
  • 2+ leadership experience [Preferred]
  • 2+ years related experience [Preferred]

  • Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]

  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) [Required]
  • Trauma Nurse Course Certified (TNCC) [Preferred]
  • Certified Agile Leadership Essentials (CAL-E) [Preferred]

Pay Range:

$75,067.20 - $139,609.60
