Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Equipment Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of manufacturing equipment and automation systems. This role will lead equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with cross-functional teams to support production and New Product Introduction activities.

Key Responsibilities

• •Provide technical and maintenance engineering support for manufacturing equipment to maximize machine uptime, reliability, and production efficiency.
• •Perform and oversee preventive maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance (CM), troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment and automation systems.
• •Analyze equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to improve performance and minimize recurring downtime.
• •Support the installation, qualification, setup, calibration, and validation of new equipment, tooling, and machine improvements.
• •Lead equipment improvement projects focused on productivity, machine utilization, product quality, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
• •Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• •Collaborate with Production, Process Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, and other cross-functional teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
• •Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and ensure equipment readiness for mass production.
• •Prepare and maintain maintenance records, equipment history, spare-parts information, SOPs, PM checklists, and other technical documentation.
• •Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, EHS requirements, and company standards.
• •Coordinate with equipment vendors and external suppliers regarding troubleshooting, repairs, spare parts, and technical support.
• •Support engineering changes, machine modifications, and automation improvement initiatives.
• •Provide technical guidance and training to technicians and operators on equipment operation, maintenance requirements, and basic troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or another relevant engineering discipline.
• •At least seven years of experience in equipment maintenance, manufacturing engineering, automation support, or a related function within a manufacturing environment.
• •Experience in the electronics, semiconductor, optical, or other high-technology manufacturing industry is preferred.
• •Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance systems, troubleshooting methodologies, PLCs, automation systems, sensors, pneumatic systems, and mechanical and electrical equipment.
• •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated experience in root-cause analysis and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
• •Familiarity with statistical analysis tools, continuous improvement methodologies, and manufacturing systems.
• •Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• •Good communication and coordination skills in both English and Thai.
• •Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• •Flexibility to support production requirements and collaborate with global teams outside regular working hours when necessary.
