Responsibilities:

  • Preventive & Predictive Maintenance : Developing, scheduling, and performing regular inspections, maintenance checks, and repairs to prevent equipment failure.
  • Troubleshooting & Repair Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic faults and executing immediate, effective repairs.
  • Operations Optimization : Identifying opportunities for improvements in machinery reliability and performance to increase productivity.
  • Safety & Compliance : Ensuring all machinery and installations comply with occupational health and safety regulations, such as OSHA .
  • Project Management & Installation : Supervising the installation, commissioning, and decommissioning of machinery, as well as upgrading existing systems.
  • Technical Support & Documentation : Maintaining detailed documentation of maintenance activities, managing spare parts inventory, and training operators on new equipment.
  • Cost Control & Scheduling : Managing maintenance budgets and coordinating with production teams to schedule maintenance tasks without disrupting production.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 10–15 years in project management roles within the chemical or related manufacturing industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing medium to large-scale projects.
  • Certification in Project Management or equivalent project management qualification is preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple data sources and meet reporting timelines.
  • Proficiency in project management software.
  • Sound understanding of chemical manufacturing processes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
