Engineering Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION

Hydraulic Supply Company (HSC), a division of Motion Industries, is seeking a Hydraulic Technical Support Specialist based in West Palm Beach, Florida to work to work with our sales and engineering teams. This is an opportunity for a motivated and talented candidate to grow with a great team and a very successful company. RESPONSIBILITIES

• •Answer technical questions about fluid power from internal and external customers
• •Design basic hydraulic systems to meet customer requirements
• •Cross-over components from other manufacturers to current supplier part numbers
• •Interface with engineering, build shop, customer service, and sales teams

QUALIFICATIONS

• •High School diploma or equivalent required
• •Fluid power knowledge/experience required
• •Work will mostly consist of sitting in front of a computer on the telephone
• •Excellent telephone and e-mail skills.
• •Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• •Attention to detail
• •Familiarity with common office software applications (Outlook, Word, etc.)
• •Familiarity with internet search engines and how to find information with them
• •CAD experience a plus
• •Willingness to learn and develop new skills as required
