About the team
As an Enterprise Operations Engineer you will work alongside experienced engineers to learn how enterprise cloud and on-premises infrastructure is monitored and supported. You will gain hands-on exposure to AWS and Azure, network monitoring, observability tools, and day-to-day IT operations while contributing to operational activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure monitoring: Monitor basic alerts, infrastructure health, and on-premises network connectivity with guidance from the team.
- Cloud operations: Learn and support day-to-day AWS and Azure operational activities.
- Incident support: Help investigate alerts, follow documented procedures, and escalate issues when required.
- Documentation and reporting: Assist with dashboards, operational documentation, and routine reporting.
- Continuous improvement: Identify simple ways to improve monitoring or automate repetitive tasks.
- Team collaboration: Participate in discussions, ask questions, and proactively communicate progress and lessons learned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field graduating in summer 2028
- Full time availability for a 6 month internship starting in February 2027
- Basic understanding of cloud computing and networking concepts.
- Strong interest in Cloud Operations, Networking, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- A curious, proactive mindset, with a willingness to learn and take initiative.
