Entry Level Aviation Technician

Description

Essential Duties:

• •Removes bearings and related hardware including bolts, washers, and nuts.
• •Cleans hardware and other components in an aqueous or solvent based machine.
• •Removes paint occasionally with a dry system such as bead blast.
• •Assist other technicians with component repair
• •Assists other departments when necessary.
• •Performs other duties as assigned or required.
• •Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Skill, Qualifications & Experience:

• •No previous technical experience is required
• •Excellent verbal and writing communication skills in English. Spanish is a plus.
• •Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet deadlines, manage a large volume of communication and be a team player.
• •Problem-solving and decision-making abilities for moderately complex issues.
• •Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• •Computer literate. and proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• •Strong analytical and decision making skills with ability to exercise informed risk taking in order to make judgment calls
• •Ability to prioritize and to work without close supervision.
• •Ability to read prints, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electric and mechanical machinery
