Job Description:

Duties and responsibilities

• •Sets up equipment
• •Conducts quality checks and reacts to quality issues
• •Communicates/interfaces with all departments
• •Assist in maintenance activities
• •Use hand tools
• •Operate hand pallet jack to move pallets several times per shift
• •Complete daily housekeeping tasks
• •Attend safety and team meetings/training
• •Conduct monthly safe audits
• •Other duties as assigned

• •Regularly required to communicate effectively
• •Attention to detail
• •Frequently required to walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach /pull with hands and arms
• •Perform repetitive tasks with high degree of accuracy.
• •Required to stand continuously for 30 – 60 minutes
• •Climb or balance; stoop/bend, kneel, crawl around various pieces of equipment daily
• •Ascend & descend 2 steps to repair & clear jams on stretch wrap machine and also ascend & descend 3 steps to dump boxes of bands.
• •Must regularly lift and/ or move up to 50 pounds from different heights.
• •Lift arms over head to clean equipment daily
• •Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• •Ability to use hand and power tools.
• •Must be able to work up to twelve (12) hour shifts, days, nights, weekends on a swing shift rotation.
• •May require additional hours beyond regularly scheduled 12 hour work day (evenings and weekends)
• •Fully comply with all OSHA safety rules and regulations.
• •Demonstrate the ability to follow directions
