Reports to: Manager Operations, Environmental Services

Position Purpose:

Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, is seeking Full Time Environmental Service Associates to join our team!

What You Will Do:

• •The Environmental Service Associate promotes sanitary conditions, which prevents the spread of infection and odors.
• •Demonstrates knowledge and efficient use of cleaning techniques, solutions, equipment and tools.
• •Performs all cleaning and project assignments within area of responsibility or as directed by supervisor.
• •Maintains equipment, tools and storage areas in clean, orderly and good operating conditions.
• •Responds rapidly and thoroughly to emergencies, special needs, spills, etc.
• •Exercises good judgment while working around patients and visitors.
• •The Floor Tech is required to work every other weekend and every other major holiday.

Minimum Qualifications:

HS Diploma or equivalency (required)
