About the Role

As a First Officer , in Darwin you will:

Serve as second-in-command to the Captain, and provide critical support in flight operations.

Support training activities, including assisting Flight Instructors during simulator sessions.

Execute duties outlined in our Operations Manuals and assist the Captain with flight management and decision-making.

Apply best practices in Non-Technical Skills (NTS) to ensure safety and efficiency.

Take full command of the aircraft in the rare event of Captain incapacitation.

Be available for shift work, contactable outside office hours, and prepared to travel domestically and internationally as required.

About You

To excel in this role, you will need:

A CPL or 'Frozen' ATPL issued by the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority or the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia, with the ability to obtain a New Zealand Licence.

Ideally, a Type Rating on the B737 NG, with recent experience (within the last 5 years)

2,000 hours Total Time

1,000 hours on Multi-Pilot Aircraft (MPA)

1,000 hours on aircraft over 10 tonnes MTOW

To reside or be willing to relocate to Darwin, Australia.

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.

A high level of drive, initiative, and problem-solving ability.

A balance of technical expertise with a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
