Description:

EVS Assistant, Extra On-Call

Reporting to the Supervisor Environmental Services*, Environmental Services, this position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, aiding in the prevention of cross contamination, controlling bacteria and odor, and sustaining an acceptable aseptic condition. Requirements

• 1. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2. Ability to communicate and follow written instructions in a fast-paced, team environment is required.
• 3. Ability to perform basic cleaning functions including the operation of a wet/dry vacuum and shampooer is required.
• 4. Knowledge of handling procedures for infectious and hazardous waste is required.
• 5. Experience in housekeeping in an acute care setting is preferred.

Pay Range

$23.00 - $28.65
