Executive Assistant to the Principal

Full-Time | 0.8-1.0 FTE | Permanent

Provide exceptional support to the College Principal and Board while playing an important role in the day-to-day operation of a growing Christian College.

South Coast Baptist College is seeking an experienced and highly-organised Executive Assistant to the Principal to provide high-level executive, administrative and confidential support to the College Principal, with additional PA support to the Chairman of the Board as required.

This is a varied and trusted support role, dealing with a range of administrative, compliance and governance requirements within the education sector.

About the role

Working closely with the Principal, Executive Team and Chairman of the Board, you will:

Provide high-level, confidential administrative and executive support to the Principal, including diary, correspondence, meetings and appointments.

Coordinate Board and Executive meetings, including agendas, reports, minutes and meeting logistics.

Prepare, edit and quality-assure professional correspondence, reports, presentations and College communications.

Support the Principal with confidential documentation relating to staff, student and parent matters, recruitment, employment and other sensitive processes.

Coordinate College events, functions, conferences, professional learning, travel and tours involving the Principal, Executive Team and Board.

Liaise professionally with staff, families, Board members, professional organisations and external stakeholders as directed.

Coordinate projects, documentation and administrative priorities, ensuring the Principal’s Office operates efficiently, discreetly and to a high standard.

About you

You are a highly organised, proactive and relational professional who thrives in a busy environment and takes pride in providing exceptional support.

You will bring:

Experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, Senior Administration or similar role.

Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills.

Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence learning systems such as Compass.

Sound judgement, discretion and the ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

A proactive approach and the ability to manage competing priorities.

Experience in a school or education environment will be highly regarded.

A genuine commitment to the Christian faith and the ethos and values of South Coast Baptist College, with the ability to provide a reference from a Pastor or Christian leader.

Flexibility to work occasional evenings and College events when required.
