The expected salary for this position: 13 000 - 22 000 PLN

We are looking for you, if you:
- Are passionate about the potential of AI and can identify opportunities where AI, advanced analytics, or GenAI solutions can create meaningful business impact,
- Have strong hands-on experience with Python, SAS and SQL and enjoy solving analytical challenges,
- Have experience working with modern AI ecosystems, including Copilot, LLMs and automation platforms.
- Understand constraints of building compliant AI solutions in a highly regulated banking sector
- Are comfortable working independently, taking ownership, and driving change across complex organizations,
- Build strong relationships and can effectively influence stakeholders across different business and technical areas.
You'll get extra points for:
- Having extensive experience in Credit Risk, risk modelling, or risk process transformation within a regulated environment,
- Understanding the end-to-end credit risk model lifecycle and the challenges that come with it,
- Successfully delivering AI, GenAI or advanced analytics solutions into production environments,
- Experience with model governance, validation, regulatory reviews or audit processes,
- Turning innovative ideas and proofs of concept into scalable business solutions,
Your responsibilities:
- Identify and shape high-impact AI use cases across the Credit Risk model lifecycle, from data management and model development to validation, monitoring and regulatory compliance.
- Design and build proof-of-concept solutions with Risk, Analytics and Technology teams, demonstrating how AI can deliver tangible business value.
- Explore, evaluate and leverage AI technologies, including Large Language Models and Copilot solutions, to enhance risk and model-related processes.
- Apply your expertise in Python, SAS and SQL to develop, test and assess innovative solutions and new ways of working.
- Turn successful experiments into scalable, sustainable solutions adopted across COO Risk.
- Act as a trusted AI advisor for Credit Risk stakeholders, helping identify opportunities, assess feasibility and maximize value creation.
- Drive the adoption of AI by translating emerging technologies into practical, business-ready solutions.
- Collaborate with international teams across Risk, Analytics, Technology, Data and Compliance to deliver impactful outcomes.
- Ensure AI-enabled solutions meet requirements for governance, traceability, auditability and regulatory compliance.
- Influence the future of Risk by driving innovation, challenging the status quo and promoting AI-powered ways of working.
Information about the Team:
You will join COO Risk, an organization serving all business lines and senior Risk stakeholders across the bank. COO Risk takes explicit ownership of operational stability and structural transformation initiatives, playing a critical role in enabling safe and compliant Risk processes.
The role offers extensive interaction with Credit Risk, Model Development, Model Risk, Compliance/NFR, Analytics, and IT teams in an international environment. Hierarchically you will report to Product Lead in Risk Data Tribe but collaborating and extending the network and scope of work to entire COO Risk domain.
The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be "Data Scientist IV".
