Facilities Cleaning Staff

Work Location: In-person role based in Windham, NY.

Seasonal Position: This role is available for the winter season.

Pay: $18-21 per hour based on experience

Anticipated Start Dates: Weather-dependent, typically beginning in early December.

Conditions: This role is primarily performed indoors in a fast-paced environment.

Position Summary:

The Facilities Cleaning team is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety of the ski lodge and surrounding areas. This guest-facing role requires a friendly attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to keeping assigned areas clean and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

• •Clean and maintain restrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, locker rooms, fitness facilities, and other assigned spaces.
• •Assist with guest area setups, breakdowns, and special events.
• •Restock supplies and maintain storage areas.
• •Remove trash and transport waste to designated dumpsters.
• •Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness standards are met.
• •Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
• •Provide friendly guest assistance and address minor issues as needed.
• •Follow safety procedures, timekeeping policies, and department standards.
• •Maintain equipment and a professional appearance.

Qualifications:

• •Cleaning, maintenance, or janitorial experience preferred.
• •Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated.
• •Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• •Adaptable and willing to learn new skills.
• •Comfortable interacting with guests and coworkers.
• •Able to work efficiently in busy, fast-paced environments.

Physical Requirements:

• •Lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• •Stand and walk for up to 10 hours.
• •Work on uneven, snowy, or icy terrain.
• •Climb stairs and ladders.
• •Regularly push, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach.
